The budding vegeterian

Delaney and her Daddy had the following conversation last week..(background - Delaney was eating scrambled eggs and Nate was eating Pad Thai with chicken. The curtain lifts with a gentle spotlight on the cute little blonde (white) haired girl.)

Delaney: Daddy, do we kill chickens?
Nate: Yes. We kill chickens and eat their meat.
Delaney: But I like chickens. I like to look at them.
Nate: Yes, they're nice to look at.
Delaney: We are NOT going to KILL anymore chickens. We just need to look at them.
Nate: I will still kill chickens and eat them. You don't have to.
Delaney: No, Daddy! Let's not kill anymore chickens. We want to have them to look at them.

(Fade to black. Curtain closes.)

She is completely her, all the time. She seemed to have forgotten this conversation by last Friday when she devoured 4 chicken nuggets in about 5 minutes.
