Jackson and the penguin exchange glances. Jackson loves to walk like a penguin and pretend to slide on his belly like a penguin so this exhibit at the aquarium was a real treat.

Delaney and Nana swap "girl talk", eat snacks and look at magazines together in Monterey. Later that night we met Nana's old gang at the pizza place in town to show off and catch up.

Vicky met us in San Jose where the MHS Robotics Team was competing in Regionals. Vicky, Jen, and the kids played while Nate worked with the team. Then, we headed to Monterey, where Nate grew up, to visit fun, familiar places, including the aquarium. Here are Delaney and Nana at the Dennis the Menice Park in Monterey where Nate played as a kid.

On the "Storybook Land" ride with our friends the Warners. They came to So. Cal to escape the end of cold Ohio winter.

Jackson was really excited about riding on "Sam the Seahorse" on the carousal also. Do these two look alike, or what?

Delaney liked the carousel at California Adventure (Disney's other half). It was the fastest ride she's ever been on. We may have a speed demon on our hands.

We're off to Disney again - this time we're dressed for the occasion. We met up with the Warners, some friends from Ohio, for two days of happy.
