Here's a picture of the culprit, identified as the Western Poplar Clearwing moth. We discovered the tree was being destroyed by these in early June. We've sprayed - we'll just wait and see if it helps. These are our new sworn enemies. We love our tree. 
There's a park a few blocks from the Boddie's, so we took the kids there to blow off some steam. Delaney was delighted to let hers out.
Tymaree, Vicky, and Ned at the Twins Game. We were glad to be inside - it was HOT outside. The stadium is held up by air pressure. When we opened the regular door (as oppossed to the rotating door) to push the stroller in, we had to push against a gale force wind to walk through. It blew Jen's sunglasses off of her face and almost pulled the cover off the top of the stroller. Delaney slept through the whole thing, of course.
